What is an acrylic print?
An acrylic print is a photo, artwork or graphic printed on a sheet of clear acrylic (also called plexiglass). When the image is printed on the back of the acrylic and viewed through the front, the acrylic adds depth, gloss and rich color that makes photos and art look vivid and modern.
What is the difference between acrylic and glass prints?
Acrylic prints are lightweight and shatter-resistant, which makes them easier to hang and safer in busy spaces. Glass prints offer a sleek, high-gloss look with a feeling of depth. What file should I send for an acrylic print?
Send the highest-resolution photo or artwork you have. For photos, the original file from your camera or phone works best. For logos and signs, vector files such as AI, EPS, SVG or PDF are ideal. We check every file and send a proof before printing.
How do I clean an acrylic print?
Dust with a soft microfiber cloth. For smudges, use mild soap and water or a cleaner made for acrylic. Avoid paper towels, abrasive pads and ammonia-based glass cleaners, which can scratch or cloud the surface.
Can acrylic prints be used outdoors?
Acrylic prints are best indoors, where they stay vibrant for years. For outdoor business signs we usually recommend aluminum or Dibond, which you can see on our custom signs page.
