- Top half firstPeople see the top of a stand over tables and crowds. Put your name and main words in the top half.
- Few big wordsA few big words read better from across a room than a long list. Put the rest on a handout.
- Mind the edgesOn retractable stands the base and the top rail hide a strip of the graphic. On X-stands the grommets sit in the corners. The designer shows those parts, so nothing important gets cut off.
- High contrastLight letters on a dark background, or dark on light, read best from far away. Avoid thin letters and busy photos behind text.

Which stands can I design for?
Retractable banner stands (standard, deluxe and adjustable height), tabletop stands, X-stands, tension fabric stands and step and repeat backdrops. Pick your stand and size, and the AI designs the part of the graphic people see.
Will the design fit my stand?
We design at the shape of the graphic people see on the stand you pick and show each design on a picture of that stand. If a graphic is taller than the AI draws in one piece, the plain background at the top and bottom is stretched to fill it. In the designer, the parts hidden in the base or top rail are filled from the design's edges.
Can I design both sides of a 2 sided stand?
Yes. Pick 2 sided, then the side to design. In the banner stand designer you can use the same design on the back or add a different one.
What if a word comes out spelled wrong?
Every design is checked for spelling and for your logo, and designs that fail are redone automatically. If a mistake still slips through, tap Fix a word and type the correction. You also review and sign a proof before anything is printed.
Will my logo look exactly like my file?
The AI redraws your logo as part of the design, so small details can change. In the banner stand designer you can add your original logo file on top and move or resize it.
