The biggest billboard your business owns

A box truck gives you 12 to 26 feet of flat space on each side, plus a rear door at eye level for every driver behind you. That truck is in front of people all day: on I-5, I-405 and SR-9, parked at job sites, and backed up to loading docks. A box truck wrap turns that space into a sign that works every mile you drive and every hour you're parked, with no monthly ad bill.

Because the sides are big and flat, a box truck can carry a large logo, a short list of services, your phone number and your website, all easy to read from across a parking lot. Want to put numbers on it? Use our Fleet ROI calculator to estimate impressions for your trucks. Running vans and pickups too? See fleet vehicle wraps in Seattle.

Compared with billboards or radio, box truck wraps are the most cost-effective commercial vehicle advertising most businesses can buy: one wrap keeps working for years for a single up-front price. Matching vehicle graphics across your trucks, vans and pickups also builds fleet branding that customers recognize on every job.

What affects box truck wrap cost

Every box truck is quoted on its own measurements and photos. These are the things that move the price up or down. For other vehicles, see our vehicle wrap cost guide.

  • Box length. A 12 or 16 ft box takes less film and install time than a 20, 24 or 26 ft box.
  • How many sides. Sides only, sides + rear, or every panel of the box, including the front above the cab.
  • Cab or no cab. Wrapping the cab adds film and labor. You can also wrap the box and just letter the cab doors.
  • Rivets, corrugated panels and roll-up doors. Uneven surfaces take more install time, and the design is planned around them.
  • Design complexity. A logo, phone number and short service list takes less design time than a fully custom illustrated layout.
  • Specialty film. Reflective and other specialty films cost more than standard printed wrap film.
  • Old graphics. Removing old lettering or an old wrap first starts at $500.

Box truck wrap FAQs

How much does a box truck wrap cost?

At Ardor Printing, a box truck wrap on the sides and rear costs $4,500–$8,500+, depending on box length and how many sides are covered. Full box truck wraps start at $5,500 for a 12–16 ft box and $7,500 for a 20–26 ft box. Partial box wraps start at $3,100 and lettering starts at $350. We accept major cards, ACH, checks and Affirm (buy now, pay later).

How long does it take to wrap a box truck?

Design and printing happen before install day, so the truck is only out of service for the install, usually one to a few days depending on box size and coverage. Larger boxes and full coverage take longer than lettering or a partial wrap.

Do you wrap the cab too?

Yes. We can wrap the cab so the whole truck matches, or wrap the box and add lettering to the cab doors. Wrapping the cab adds to the price, and your quote will show both options if you ask.

Can you wrap over rivets and corrugated sides?

Yes. We use conformable cast wrap film and post-heat it around rivets so it stays down. Deeply corrugated areas take more time, and sometimes it works better to design around them or cover them with separate panels or graphics. Send us photos of your box and we'll tell you what we recommend.

Can I wrap a leased or rented box truck?

Usually, yes. Wrap film removes cleanly from sound factory paint when it comes off on time, within the film's service life. Check your lease or rental terms first. When the truck goes back, we can remove the wrap for you, starting at $500.

How long does a box truck wrap last?

A printed wrap lasts up to 8 years on vertical surfaces like the box sides and doors. Roofs and hoods get more sun and last about 3 years. Hand wash or use a touchless wash, and wait 72 hours before the first wash.

Do you offer pricing for a fleet of box trucks?

Yes. We create one design and adapt it to each truck and box length, so your whole fleet matches. Ask us about fleet pricing, and see our fleet vehicle wraps page for vans and pickups.

Can you add our USDOT number and company name to the doors?

Yes. We can letter your company name, USDOT number and other numbers on the cab doors, either as part of the wrap or on their own, starting at $350. Send us the exact wording and numbers you need, and we'll size them to be easy to read.
