Custom DTF transfers you design online
DTF (direct-to-film) transfers are your designs printed in full color on film, with a white layer behind them, ready to press onto your shirts with a heat press. Lay them out here, see them on a t-shirt at true size, approve your proof and order. We print the transfers; you press them.

Two ways to lay out your sheet
- One design, many copies. Upload one design, set its size and how many you need. We place the copies 1/4 in apart and 1/8 in from every edge, and pick the cheapest sheet length and number of sheets.
- Gang sheet. Put different designs on one 22 in wide sheet, 3 to 120 in long. Drag them where you want them, then fit the sheet to your designs.

Each sheet costs less again at 3, 5, 10, 25 and 50 sheets. The designer shows your exact price for any length and number of sheets. Need more than 100 sheets? Request a quote.
Artwork that prints well
- A PNG with a transparent background, 300 dpi at the size you want it printed.
- Anything that isn't transparent prints, white included. Remove a plain background with one click in the designer.
- Keep lines and dots at least 0.02 in (0.5 mm) thick.
- Keep designs 1/8 in inside the sheet edge. The designer shows the line.

How to press DTF transfers
- Set your heat press to 290-320 F with medium to firm pressure (35-50 PSI).
- Pre-press the shirt for 5-7 seconds.
- Place the transfer and press for 10-20 seconds.
- Let it cool all the way, then peel the film (cold peel).
- Cover it with a teflon sheet and press again for 5-7 seconds.
This is general guidance. Fabrics and presses differ, so test on a spare shirt first.

How much do DTF transfers cost?
One 22 x 3 in sheet is $54.98. The price is per sheet: it depends on the sheet length and how many sheets you order, and it drops as you order more. Shipping is free.
What is a gang sheet?
One 22 in wide sheet with several different designs on it. Place them where you want, then fit the sheet to your designs so you only pay for the length you use.
How many copies fit on a sheet?
The designer works it out for you. Copies sit 1/4 in apart and 1/8 in from every edge of the 22 in wide sheet, and it picks the cheapest sheet length and number of sheets for the copies you need.
What file should I upload?
A PNG with a transparent background, 300 dpi at the size you want it printed. JPG, PDF, SVG, AI, EPS, TIFF and PSD work too, up to 60 MB each. Lines and dots should be at least 0.02 in (0.5 mm) thick.
Can you remove the background from my design?
Yes. If your design has a plain background, tap Remove background in the designer, check it on the dark shirt preview, and undo it if you don't like it. Anything that isn't transparent prints, white included.
