Two styles: gallery wrap and floating frame
Gallery wrap. Your picture is printed on white semigloss artist canvas and hand-wrapped on a 1.5 inch deep stretcher frame. You choose how the sides look. Hanging hardware is included, so your canvas arrives ready to hang.
Floating frame. Your picture is printed on canvas, mounted flat on a rigid backer and set in a 1.25 inch deep floating frame, with a narrow gap between the picture and the frame. Choose a Pecan, Black or White frame at the same price. Hanging hardware is included, so it arrives ready to hang.

Four edge styles for gallery wraps
On a gallery wrap, the edge is the 1.5 inch side of the canvas that folds around the frame. Pick how it looks:
- Mirrored edge: your whole picture stays on the front, and the sides show a mirror image of its outer 1.5 inches.
- Image wrap: your picture continues around the sides, so the outer 1.5 inches on each side are not on the front.
- Black edge: your whole picture stays on the front, and the sides are solid black.
- White edge: your whole picture stays on the front, and the sides are solid white.
A floating frame canvas has no edge style: your whole picture is on the front, printed at the exact size.
Files that work best
- File type: JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 25 MB.
- Picture size: use 100 pixels or more for every inch of canvas. A 16 x 20 inch canvas needs about 1,600 x 2,000 pixels.
- Built-in check: the builder warns you if your picture will look soft or blurry at the size you picked.
- Safe area: keep faces and text inside the dashed red line, half an inch in from the edge of the front.

- Upload. Add a photo or artwork from your phone or computer.
- Place it. Pick the style, size and orientation, and the edge style or frame color, then move and size your picture. Add text or clipart if you like.
- Approve and sign your proof. Check your canvas in 2D and 3D, then sign your proof online. We print what you approve.
- Check out. Pay online, then pick up your canvas in Snohomish or have it shipped.

Floating frames come in Pecan, Black or White, all at the same price. You can order 4 sizes: 16 x 16, 16 x 24, 24 x 24 and 24 x 36 inches. Every size that is not square can hang portrait or landscape.
What is the difference between the edge styles?
Edge styles are for gallery wraps. With Mirrored edge, Black edge and White edge, your whole picture stays on the front of the canvas. The sides show a mirror image of the outer 1.5 inches of your picture, solid black or solid white. With Image wrap, your picture itself continues around the sides, so the outer 1.5 inches on each side are not on the front. Every edge style costs the same. A floating frame canvas has no edge style: your whole picture is on the front, printed at the exact size.
What kind of file do I need?

Yes. Use the Text and Clipart tools in the builder to put names, dates, a quote or simple shapes on top of your picture.
Do I see a proof before you print?
Yes. Before checkout you review your proof, with your real picture on the canvas, and sign it online. We only contact you if there is a problem with your file. A copy of your signed proof comes with your order confirmation.
Can I pick up my canvas, or do you ship?
Both. Pick up your order at Ardor Printing, 12531 Old Snohomish Monroe Rd., Snohomish, WA 98290, or have it shipped to you. Standard shipping to US addresses is free. Choose pickup or shipping in the builder, then choose the same option at checkout.
Can I order more than one canvas?
Yes. Set the quantity in the builder to order up to 100 copies of the same canvas. For a different picture or size, add each canvas to your cart on its own.
