How does a project with Ardor Printing work?

Every Ardor Printing project follows the same path: a free consult and quote, a site visit or measure when the job needs one, design with a mockup and proof you approve, printing and lamination in-house, installation by Ardor's own certified crew, and a final walkthrough backed by a 1-year installation warranty. Nothing is printed until you approve the proof.

One shop, one team, start to finish

Ardor Printing makes vehicle wraps, signs and wall graphics for Puget Sound businesses, designed, printed and installed in-house since 2012. Because our designers, production team and installers all work under one roof, your project never gets lost between departments, and the graphic you approve is the graphic that goes up.

The steps below are the same whether you're wrapping one work van, rebranding a fleet, lettering a storefront or covering an office in wall graphics. Only the timeline changes.

The six steps of every Ardor project

  1. Free consult & quote

Tell us about your vehicles, signs or space by phone or through the quote form. Quotes are free, and signs, walls and window film get a free on-site estimate.

  2. Site visit & measure

For walls, windows and building signs we measure the space and check the surface. For vehicles we check the paint, since peeling clear coat, rust or old graphics need to be handled before install.

  3. Design, mockup & proof

Our in-house designers build your graphics from your logo or from scratch, or prep your own files for large-format print. You see a mockup on your vehicle, wall or windows and approve the proof before anything prints.

  4. Print, laminate & cut

Approved artwork is printed in-house on premium films, including cast films from 3M and Avery Dennison for wraps, laminated where it needs protection and cut to shape on our Zünd cutter.

  5. Installation

Our own certified installers handle every job. We can pick up and deliver vehicles, put multiple installers on one vehicle to cut downtime, and install walls on-site, after hours if needed.

  6. Walkthrough & follow-up

We review the finished job with you, go over care, and stand behind it with a 1-year installation warranty. If anything comes up, you'll have a solution within 24 hours.

Who you'll work with

  • Your project manager

One point of contact from quote to install who schedules design, production and installation and keeps you posted.

  • Our design team

In-house designers who lay out your graphics, check your files for large-format print and build your mockups and proofs.

  • Production

The crew that prints, laminates and cuts every job at our shop on Old Snohomish Monroe Rd.

  • Our installers

3M Certified and UASG Certified installers, trained and tested to manufacturer standards, who install on-site or at our shop.

How long does each type of project take?

Design and proofing come first, and every quote includes a timeline for your job. After you approve the proof, these are typical times:

  • Custom stickers: most orders are ready in 2–3 business days.
  • Coroplast yard signs: most orders are ready in 2–3 business days.
  • Vehicle wraps: most vehicles are installed in a day; full wraps on larger or more complex vehicles take 1–5 days.
  • Color change wraps: most take 2–5 days.
  • Wall wraps and murals: most single walls are installed in a day; multi-wall, floor and building projects are scheduled over several days.
  • Van upfits: most single-van upfits take a few days once the equipment is in stock.
  • Trade show displays: order a few weeks before your show to leave time for design, proofs and production.

What to send with your quote request: your logo or artwork (vector AI, EPS, PDF or SVG files work best; high-resolution PNG or JPG files are fine too), the year, make and model of each vehicle, and photos and measurements for walls, windows or signs.

Process FAQs

Do I see a proof before Ardor prints anything?

Yes. Every project gets a mockup or proof on your vehicle, wall or windows, and nothing is printed until you approve it.

Does Ardor Printing require a deposit?

Yes. Design starts once your deposit is received, and print projects require a 50% deposit before printing or scheduling. Ardor accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, ACH and bank transfer, checks, cash and Affirm buy now, pay later.

Can you work from my own design files?

Yes. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) work best, and high-resolution PNG or JPG files are fine too. Our designers check every file for large-format print and can create or clean up your artwork.

Can you install after business hours?

Yes. We can install wall wraps and other on-site graphics after hours to keep your business running.

Do you pick up and deliver vehicles?

Yes. Vehicle pick-up and delivery is available, and for fleets we can put multiple installers on one vehicle to keep downtime short.

Can Ardor handle installs outside Washington?

Yes. Our own crew installs across the Puget Sound, and we have a network of installers nationwide that can facilitate installations in every state.
